Los Angeles, Calif. – A man was shot outside a Los Angeles Mayor voting site Tuesday Morning.
Los Angeles police were notified of a shooting located outside Watts Elementary School at 92nd street around 9:30 a.m.
KTLA characterized the incident as “domestic dispute”. KTLA reported the incident started when two lovers working at the voting center in the school theater argued about a man who arrived at the voting place.
The boyfriend later escorted the man outside to shoot him.The suspect escaped the area leaving the 35-year old injured. The man reportedly suffered minor injuries. Los Angeles authorities are searching for the shooting suspect.
Los Angeles police officer Phil Tingirides believes that a possible love affair led to the shooting. The Elementary school was on lockdown until it was clear and safe. The polling place later relocated to the school’s parking lot.
